About Us

Hello, my name is Denise Drummond. My husband is the one that got me involved in purebred dogs, namely the Alaskan Malamute. We have been living with Alaskan Malamutes since 1995. We have owned dogs our whole lives and truly enjoy their company. I have been a member of the AMCA (Alaskan Malamute Club of America) since 2004. I am also a member of the AMAL (Alaskan Malamute Assistance League) as of 2008.

We started with a pet malamute and our love grew from her. Then we got into showing a bit with our second malamute, a male. His name was Drummond's Arctic Silverbear, he is the namesake for our kennel. While he wasn't a big star, he will always be a champion in my heart.

Our third malamute has definitely been the one that has taught me the most. He taught me about some of the health issues our breed faces. He taught me about the importance of proper socialization and training. I am forever grateful to him and he is truly my best buddy.

We will be striving to produce Malamutes that are sound physically and mentally. Malamutes that will benefit the breed and become welcome additions to the right homes.
